Tomatoes

I’m excited!  Enough of my tomatoes have ripened and now I am able to can some tomato juice.  Yay!

I know, I know!  You guys are so completely, out-of-your-mind excited as well, right?  😀   Just kidding…. 😉

I tried to get Shan as excited as I am, and see if she would help me with the canning process, but for some reason canning does not bring her the same joy it does me. 😛

The guys are feeling better.  Joel much better than Tim, but at least Tim’s headed in the right direction.

  1. I am excited. I have done a lot of canning this year too. It took me a while and I had a good helper. It gives you a sense of accomplishment when you are finished and look at all of it. Like Grandma VanderLinde used to say,”it will taste better than snowballs”.

  2. I have to say I’m with Shan:) I love the fruits of the labor and wish I had the love and desire for gardening and canning but I just don’t. Mom and dad always canned and I hated it. I’m proud and happy for anyone who does it and sees the fruits of their labor!
